RECALLED: This version of Inkscape was not released pubically and was recalled due to serious problems.

Inkscape 1.4.1 is a maintenance and bugfix release, which brings you fixes for many critical or irritating bugs, and even some new features:

The most important fixes and changes in this release are:

• a new splash screen, providing a visual cue while Inkscape loads in the background
• greatly improved Affinity Designer files (.afdesign) import
• experimental Linearity Curve (vectornator) importer
• more than X crash/freeze fixes, many of which affected PDF import
• improvements to boolean operations
• and almost Y more bug fixes
