Recently, I have been looking for little projects to do just to keep using Inkscape. I thought this might be helpful to others. 

I have been going through my (Android) phone and some applications online like my email accounts to look for icons or other little graphics to reproduce in Inkscape. I found some that might be challenging to people just learning to use Inkscape especially the Path operations. Attached is a collection of what I have found. They are NOT my designs. Credit goes to the software developers who made them. I would encourage you to go through your phone and other devices to see what you can find. Take a screenshot and import it into Inkscape. If nothing else, this shows the talent of other graphic designers out there whose work may go unappreciated. 

Cool idea. I've been doing something similar with some IG accounts that I follow that do geometric/pop art style pieces. I'll screenshot a work and then see how I can recreate it using the tools available in inkscape (no tracing). Obviously I don't post these anywhere, it's like playing scales on the piano to get app clicking. Sometimes a work will make me want to try something different with a similar idea.
